Job Description

Purpose: 

The purpose of this intern is to support the senior application technologists in day to day operational works to provide winning beverage solutions to drive beverage adoptions.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Acquiring skillset in benchtop beverage preparations (cross categories - carbonated drinks, powder drinks, coffee, tea, alcoholic beverages, juices, functional drinks etc) as well as relevant flavor applications.

Sample preparation for flavor performance studies at stressed condition & project submission.

Exposure to challenges and limitations in sugar reduction work in the world of beverage.

Facilitate sensory evaluation of beverage samples.

At the end of the internship, the intern will

  • Be independent in preparation of a ready to market, stable (relates to physical stability) beverage prototype. Understand the fundamental of liquid/dry mixing of various beverage ingredients.
  • Able to operate lab scale Carbonator, Carbonation Tester, Auto Titrator, Moisture Analyzer, Turbidity Meter, Can Seamer, Autoclave.
  • Understand Carbonated Drink Formulation and Computation of recipe from syrup to ready-to-drink/ vice versa.
  • Capable of conducting simple sensory evaluation in uncontrolled environment.

As per academic calendar (Minimum 2 months)

Working Hours: 

8am to 5pm (Mon – Thu)

8am to 3:30pm (Fri)

(Transport provided two ways)
