Job Description

Flavour – Dairy Intern

Purpose: 

The purpose of this intern is to support the dairy specialist in the Flavors division.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The intern will be assisting the dairy specialist in producing dairy based prototypes ranging from flavored milks to yoghurts and milk powder, also in other areas such as soy and plant based drinks. He/she will be instrumental in ensuring that prototypes are of top quality when preparing for submission to clients. The intern will be also exposed to using dairy equipments such as the UHT pilot plant, homogenizer and yoghurt pilot plant.

The intern will also be participating in tasting sessions with other key stakeholders to understand the dynamics of flavor application in the dairy category. He/she will also be given an opportunity to design new flavor concepts in line with the given briefs.

At the end of the internship, the intern will

  • Be able to gain an insight into the flavor industry and contribute to our client’s innovation pipeline.
  • Be able to experience different taste preferences in Asia Pacific to better answer briefs.
  • Acquire the necessary communication skills to liaise with other key stakeholders in the company.
  • Develop the application of their academic exposure to applied sciences like the food science industry (eg, the use of stabiliser systems in dairy applications etc)

As per academic calendar

Working Hours: 

8am to 5pm (Mon – Thu)

8am to 3:30pm (Fri)

(Transport provided two ways)
