We are looking for an aspiring UX/UI designer to join our team as an intern. In this role you will be working closely with the design and development teams. Your main role will be to assist our product designer to convert ideas and features into pixel perfect designs that can be easily understood and implemented by our development team. In exchange, you will get the chance to learn about the workings of a product company, especially how to ideate, communicate and design in a user-driven company.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Works closely with the product designer to help turn ideas and concepts into tangible assets, such as wireframes, sketches, prototypes, etc.
- Communicates well with all team members and is willing to collaborate actively with colleagues.
- Is an independent thinker who is not afraid to design themselves rather than to be told what something should look like.
- Is able to work on refining something multiple times, by having an eye and passion for details.
- Does not shy away from new challenges and is able to take initiative and get things done.
You should be:
- Someone with a sense of aesthetics and design, and who is good at turning ideas into beautiful looking designs.
- Comfortable with using digital tools to create. Ideal if they have knowledge of UX tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD.
- Confident in communicating and engaging with other stakeholders to explain their design choices and intentions.
- Passionate about learning more about UX/UI and willing to put in the effort to expand their skills and knowledge.
- Interested in learning more about how product teams work and how product features and ideas are developed and refined.
