Job Description

Education Volunteer Network is a non-profit organisation looking at increasing impact through our beneficiaries. We are looking for a part time [50%] Design intern with a great eye for design to help with our website, branding and programs.

 

Responsibilities

-Create graphic artwork and videos for marketing and communication channels

-Improve user experience through website design and curation

-Bring new ideas for content and support photo/video shoots where necessary

-Assist team in brand ideation, annual reports and strategic planning

-Curate engaging stories, videos and posts on our blog

-Design visuals and create content to online and offline audience

-Support program execution and development

-Mentor children and youth in academic and non-academic programs

 

Requirements

-Adobe: Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, PowerDirector or equivalent. Experience in animation would be an advantage

-Creativity: Creative and strategic thinker with strong brand sensibility

-User experience: Knowledge in SEO, web accessibility, UI/UX would be a plus

-Aesthetics: Great visualisation skills. Background in music, piano, keyboard and/or a second and third language would be essential for supporting our programs

-Qualifications: Pursuing a qualification in design, film, video production or equivalent. Working experience in design would be a plus

-Resourceful: Happy to wear multiple hats with a ‘no task is too small’ attitude

-Team player: Good communication skills with children/youth/adults
