EDF Lab Singapore is looking for a talent to work with our cross-disciplinary research team in developing smart city solutions. The role will provide you a unique opportunity to work on projects involving mobility electrification, EV charging infrastructure and renewable energy market topics in SoutheastAsia. You will be learning not only the day-to-day responsibilities of a researcher within our team but also will be tasked with project that directly supports the goals of EDF Lab Singapore.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis for charging infrastructure and business models
- Conduct research for harbour electrification and green certificate; develop tools related to these topics
- Produce newsletter on latest development of electric and autonomous vehicles
- Assist simulation tasks for agent-based electric mobility model to forecast travel behaviour and analyse charging infrastructure(e.g.,using AnyLogic)
- Draft relevant presentation slides and report
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any engineering, mathematics, computer science, or other related discipline
- Interest or experience in conducting research and draw insights and recommendations from the analysis
- Experience or strong interest in topics such as electric mobility, renewable energy market and business model analysis
- Strong in mathematics and experience in programming (e.g. Java, Python)
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Eligible to work in Singapore and able to commit up to 6 months
