Job Description

Strategy Analyst (3 Months Contract / Full Time / Part-time Internship)

Main Responsibilities:

The position reports to the Senior Vice President – Strategy for Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

1) APAC strategic studies and business supports:

Support the Region and Business Unit teams in performing strategic analysis for key growth opportunities and help in the elaboration of strategic studies.

  • Elaborate analysis to support executive decisions, including but not only:
    - Perform market analysis (desktop research, calls)
    - Synthesize findings into written presentations
  • Prepare ad-hoc Excel reports and Powerpoint presentations on demand

2) Group Strategic 3 year plan:

Support the Zone and its Business Unit in preparing their strategic 3-year plan:

  • Support APAC Business Units in their strategic planning process (provide analytical help to countries in identifying key growth levers and quantifying their potential contribution to revenue growth, check consistency vs. previous years and vs. comparable Business Units…)

3) Merger & Acquisition (if relevant)

  • Perform market and competitive analysis to help evaluate potential M&A targets
  • Support due diligences and help draft internal investment thesis
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support the on-going M&A processes

Profile of candidate:

Experience in Strategy consulting or Investment bank is a plus

Language: Good level of spoken and written English (French speaking is a plus)

IT tools: Microsoft office tools with high degree of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

Skills: analytical thinking, strong business sense, self-starter, resourceful, good team player
