Job Description

eCommerce Advisor (Internship)

An internship opportunity has arisen for an eCommerce Advisor, to support, assist and report into General Manager, Singapore in a commercially driven and fast paced environment where the incumbent will come in and start adding value to the business. This role will be exposed to eCommerce business landscape of Singapore and participate in setting up eCommerce platform for retail solutioning industry.

Learning Opportunities: 

  • The incumbent will be part of a strong global organization in which he/she can develop his/her eCommerce skillset from eCommerce initiatives.
  • The incumbent will gain insights in the Field Marketing & Retail Execution industry.

Key Roles & Responsibilities are not limited to: 

  • Responsible for online market research for Singapore eCommerce business landscape such as latest market trends, industry and channel best practices, etc.
  • Gain in-depth understanding on e-shopper’s purchasing behaviour and develop insights to eCommerce operations
  • Monitor operational KPIs and identify pain points for sellers and buyers, and providing recommendations on areas of improvement
  • Supporting the formulation of an APAC E-Com strategy playbook for the organisation
  • Competitor analysis in local market such as value-added range of e-services provided in the industry
  • Co-ordinating with in country teams to collect insights
  • Supporting the future roll out of e-services where applicable
  • Provide administrative support to Country General Manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum master’s in business with 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skill and sensitivity to data
  • Creative and innovative approach to solving problems
  • Ability to thrive and meet timelines in a fast paced and dynamic results driven environment
  • Self-Starter, Resourceful, Credible, Tenacious, Results driven, possess good communication skills
