Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the management and event organization of press, corporate, charity and private events
- Support the daily operations within the Events Division on all necessary tasks (idea and concept development, design and print briefs, sourcing and proposal of venues, sourcing and proposal of entertainment, hosts and other activities related to the event)
- Assist to produce detailed proposals, budget, and presentations for project pitching
- Manage invitee list, send out invitations and consolidate RSVP list for events
- Maintain inventory of props/display materials
- Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with onsite execution and operations
- Stay up-to-date with the industry and developments; actively share any trending news, creative ideas, industry’s insights and best practices with the team
- Undertake any other ad hoc related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Marketing or Communications diploma or degree preferred, but not required
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage time
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Takes initiative, enthusiastic to learn and likes a challenge
- Creative, energetic and passionate
- PC proficient, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and handle routine tasks
- A team player that can work independently
Length of contract:
This is a six-month internship from Jun 2020. The internship will gain a good understanding of the event planning and implementation of activities and programs in the luxury market and private events in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment.
