Job Description

Purpose of the job:
The Social Media Intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks involving executing the social media strategy for respective brands, and working closely with the social team to deliver social media deliverables to the clients in order to meet their business objectives.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities: (or 'Duties')
Social Media
• Assist the Social Media Strategist and Social Media Manager in creating social calendars for the brands.
• As part of Community Management, monitor the social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) for user comments and drafting replies for the same.

Content
• Conceptualize the social posts based on the approved content calendar.
• Create comprehensive Creative Brief for the creative team for the social posts.
• Ensure the timelines and processes for content creation and client approval are maintained.
• Assist the team in phot/video production of the content
• Help out the team in making minor edits with respect to design (knowledge in

Research
• Conduct research to see the current trends and content that works for brands.
• Seek out for client’ competitors’ social activities.
• Assist the social team in conducting research for new pitches and proposals

Analytics and Reporting
• Help the social team in creating monthly/quarterly social reports


Qualifications:
• Thrives in a fast pace, constantly changing environment; can adapt plans due to changes in client objectives, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum
• Strong analytical skills, ability to relate results to client business objectives
• Well organized multi-tasker able to work independently
• Good English and interpersonal communication, secondary language skills a plus
• Good Team player
• Detail-minded and able to work under pressure
• Ability to work with numbers
• Good PC skills
