DenseLight provides one-stop design and manufacturing solutions, from photonics design and simulation, epitaxial growth, wafer fabrication, chip production, in-line optical coating, sub-mounting, photonic measurements, product tests and screening.
DenseLight is operationally ready for responsive prototyping and quality production. The 50,000 sq. ft. purpose-built facility houses its headquarters, R&D, product design and manufacturing operations under one roof. Its 15,000 sq. ft. clean room is fully equipped for enabling vertically integrated volume manufacturing, from wafer fabrication to test and packaging.
We have an experienced team with deep know-how in InP semiconductors wafer processing. Together with operationally ready manufacturing and photonics design centre, various ODM and Design-In programs can be supported for both discrete and integrated optical components. These advanced modules include: Hybrid/monolithic photonics integrated circuits. We make photonic products smaller, faster and cost competitive for the sensing and datacom markets through disruptive innovations in Dielectric Photonics and Optical Interposers.
Support the R&D team to develop the optoelectronics devices, including but not limited to FP lasers, DFB lasers, electro-absorption modulator/laser, photonics integrated circuits and their packaged modules, as well as photonics systems such as external cavity lasers to meet design goals and requirements.
Assist the team for the testing set-ups and capabilities aligned to the company’s technology and product roadmap, and to integrate them with in-house manufacturing capabilities.
- Perform test and characterization runs to support the test requirements of New Product Innovation, New Requirement Engineering, Request For Customization, and Product Improvement projects.
- Perform waveguide and optical coupling tests of passive components, and electro-optical tests to characterize active optoelectronic devices and photonic integrated circuits.
- Analysis of measured test results together with correlation to design requirements and simulation results to iterate towards improvement in design and performance of the optoelectronic devices and packaged modules.
- Generate test reports with measurement results and detailed analyses in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the wafer fab, assembly and packaging, design, and product teams of both in-house and outsourced partners.
