Job Description

Finance and Accounting Manager - (6 Months Contract to cover Maternity)

Reporting to the CFO, you will be part of the Finance and Accounting Team.

Job Description

  • As a member of the Finance team, you will be involved in the monthly and annual closing of the financial statements, performing analysis and reconciliation to the accounts, preparation of audit schedules etc
  • Handle full set of accounts and overseeing AR/AP/GL
  • Reconciliation of bank statements
  • Handles quarterly GST returns and Corporate Tax matters, including ensuring accurate and timely submission of quarterly GST returns and annual income tax returns
  • Liaising with external auditor for annual audit
  • Yearly submission of employees’ income
  • Assist in cash flow management and overseeing payments to suppliers
  • Work closely with Senior Management and Department Heads to understand and support the respective business needs
  • Participates in ad-hoc projects as assigned by CEO and or his assigned personnel and Operations/Management
  • Handle all outlets credit card matters, liaising with banks on various matters (account opening/closing, T/T’s and other facilities etc
  • Help manage all outlets terminal payments such as: incoming of funds, terminal issue etc
  • Issuance of monthly salary payments to all staff members, CPF submission, FWL, IR21, Maternity, CCL submission etc

Requirements

  • Accounting qualifications preferred ( CA or CPA, Degree in business Accountancy)
  • Minimum 3 years of finance/accounting experience
  • Independent, proactive and committed team player yet able to take the lead when situation arises
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact with people of various seniority and departments
  • Meticulous, able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good understanding of the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore corporate tax and Singapore GST
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skills
  • Good oral and written communication skill
  • Skilled in MS Office applications, particularly Excel (preferably knowledge of Xero Accounting system or similar accounting platforms)
