About the Role…
- This internship will provide you with learning opportunities in a fast-paced multi-national company. The mission of a planning intern includes supporting the SEA & HKTW planning team in daily operations, forecast accuracy, Inventory management, Risk management, process improvements and projects.
- This job provides learning opportunities to develop your supply chain skills, especially in the Demand and Supply planning
- This job offers you an opportunity to share what you have learned from school and improve the current process. Pick up hard skills and brushing your soft skills.
- The candidate is required to support the SEA & HKTW planning team in various projects with guidance from the manager.
- The candidate will learn analytical and reporting skills, especially the monthly forecast accuracy report / inventory report
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Reporting – support SEA and HKTW planning team with daily / weekly / monthly forecast & inventory report
- Process – Own and continuously improve the innovation forecast process
- Projects – work on process improvements (forecast submission template / risk analysis templet / inventory management template) through automation and Excel enhancements.
ESSENTIAL:
- Able to commit for at least 6 months (Jan to Jun 2022) for a full-time internship.
- Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook (or related email tool) Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Self-Motivated, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
- Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
- Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.
- Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup and beauty products.
- Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership.
- Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges.
- Passionate, enthusiastic and driven to regularly follow-up with loose ends.
- Able to thrive despite challenges while adopting a positive attitude under pressure.
DESIRABLE
- Strong interest in supply chain & operations (with BA degree relevancy)
