The Finance Intern reports to the senior finance executive in SG and you will be responsible in assisting the accountant in the day-to-day tasks.

Job Description

Essential Functions

Finance Intern

  • Assist the finance team in for all accounts receivables functions including banking in of customers’ cheques, and recording and submitting bank cheque payments
  • Assist in following up on outstanding invoices and generating statement of accounts to customers (get vendors to print and deliver)-coordination work

Assist the GL Senior Finance Executive in daily tasks and handle some administrative finance tasks

  • Any other ad-hoc duties or new job responsibilities as assigned to maximize the efficiency of the Finance team.

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
  • Energetic, self-starter, showing good inquisitiveness and desire to understand the business more deeply.
  • Able to balance and prioritize multiple conflicting requirements.
  • Good team player with strong analytics, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to priorities and work well under pressure and time constraints.
  • Independent, pro-active and highly motivated.

Work Environment:

Standard commercial office environment / setting.

Virtual team collaboration between country and regional colleagues.

Work in office 2 days a week (Hybrid)

Fresh graduates/Interns

Education:

Diploma / Degree in Accounting
