Job Description

General Duties and Responsibilities 

Working under the supervision of Director, People and Learning, the intern will carry out duties assigned to him or her in a professional manner.

1. Work with the People & Culture senior executives to strategically plan initiatives that will benefit the company and team members. 

2. Involve in hiring, learning and development, compensation & benefits and other People and Culture initiatives for new team members.

3. Responsible for the system in the People and Culture Department.

4. Sourcing of candidates via recruitment agencies and on line advertisements

5. Issuing of Letter of Offer/Intent to the selected candidate

6. Assist in maintaining the team members' leave, records and maintain medical insurance policies

7. Assist in handling of payroll and cross charging to the various business entities.

8. Assist in conducting exits interviews

9. Organising training sessions or on line sessions for team members as and when necessary.

Skills and Abilities

1. Have at least 1 year working experience in a local Singapore Hospitality Industry 

2. Computer literate with excellent skills with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Poinyt

3. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to details and willingness to develop and learn new skills.

4. Good writing, analytical and problem solving skills

5. Able to work under pressure and after office hours call with Americas if required.

6. Good follow up, positive and pro-active attitude towards work

7. Able to practice discretion and confidentiality at all times
