Job Description

Position Overview:

The incumbent will assist the COO of CCPL with planning and executing various business and operational initiatives for the Company. These include strategic business planning, streamlining operational processes as well as stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities of the Intern will include:

  • Research and prepare presentations on a variety of strategic topics for the business
  • Support in financial modelling to assist with financial analyses as required for strategic initiatives
  • Assist in the rollout and implementation of key processes from the Company’s climate focused strategic review
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for key stakeholder engagement sessions
  • Working with various internal departments to support in streamlining of various operational processes and reporting requirements
  • Participation and support in any ad-hoc projects as required

Knowledge/ Experience Required:

  • Good university degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related subject
  • At least some internship experience in the financial sector
  • Strong Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word skills including basic financial modelling
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Being comfortable with change and adjust to changing demands and requirements
  • A good team player with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work well with minimal supervision and within tight timeframes
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
