Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

MARKET KNOWLEDGE

  • Enrich market intelligence by preparing a thorough and exhaustive study of shopping mall developers/landlords in the APAC region, with a particular focus on China market
  • Identify the key players and dynamics to the industry (current landscape – who are the winners and losers – versus future opportunities)
  • Create a database of shopping mall profiles by mapping their key data (location, traffic, area, connectivity etc.), tenancy mix including but not limited to beauty brands, and an evaluation of the malls’ strengths and weaknesses

Other responsibilities may be added to the above, which are consistent with the title Retail Management Intern (Jul - Dec 2022).

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate or Social Sciences
  • Previous internship experience in performing market research
  • Proven track record in developing qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Effective visual communication through charts, info-graphics, and slide deck presentations
  • Research expertise related to retail sectors or China market would be a plus
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Power Point knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
  • High degree of responsibility, integrity and attentive to details.
  • Excellent time management
  • Self-initiated individual with an inquisitive mind and a collaborative attitude
  • People and, Communication skills with an ability to adapt to different personalities
