  • Perform Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for the Consumer Banking Group Singapore (CBGS) and ensure suitable controls are implemented to mitigate the identified risks.
  • Perform monthly independent control effectiveness testing to validate that controls have been implemented effectively across both business and operations units
  • Monitor operational risk indicator trends and engage Business/Ops Unit whenever there are breaches or red flags to assess and formulate actions plans to address these risks
  • Assist for all CBGS audits which includes liaison with auditors, reviewing evidence and Business Unit’s response prior to giving it to the auditors
  • Assist for all Outsourcing submissions for CBGS(e.g. SLA Reporting, Annual Review, etc.)
  • To facilitate the logging in of incidences that occurred as Control Issue Management (CMI) or Loss Event Description (LED) into SHARP system within the stipulated timeline. Follow up with stakeholders to ensure resolution are completed within deadlines. To facilitate the creation of Control Issue Acceptance (CIA) with issue owner with the relevant stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME) when necessary.
  • To escalate medium/high risk events to management in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with CBGS Business Units HODs/DCORO, Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM), Compliance, Legal and Customer Experience Management to resolve any issue identified
  • Assist with preparing, reviewing and validating regulatory reports before submission
  • To provide support to any Consumer Banking project initiatives
  • To work closely with internal functional teams including other departments and stakeholders and facilitate acceptance and implementation of any new or revised process/controls/policies
  • Assist in the implementation of Bank’s risk management/compliance policies and framework for the Consumer Banking division
  • Provide advice and training for business units within CBGS on regulatory matters
  • Assist in all CBGS regulatory reporting and AML Enterprise-wide Risk Assessment (e.g. FATCA, CRS, AML, MAS Ad-Hoc Questionnaires, CRAFT etc.)
