This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join on a 6-month Strategy & Operations Associate internship. Reporting to the Strategy & Planning Manager, you will primarily focus on market research to gather insights, to help drive the company’s ambitions in international expansion and internal process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in setting up workflows and automations within the CRM, build upon the CRM SOPs playbook, facilitate improvements and streamline processes.
  • Work closely with CardUp’s Strategy & Planning Manager to provide insights about our business and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct market research on potential new strategic initiatives including new markets and products, communicating them to senior management in concise, insightful ways.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the senior management team with internal reporting such as and not limited to sales performance and assist in building business cases, prepare investor and stakeholder presentations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in market research, building presentation decks and understanding of basic financial analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and prioritise work in order to stick to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Hubspot and / or Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Previous start-up and / or SaaS experience will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SQL or similar is highly meriting.
  • Excellent communication skills and personal qualities of integrity, credibility and quality.
  • Team player – no politics!
  • Strong command of the English language (written and verbal) and is able to commit to at least 3 days per week with an ideal tenure of 6 months.
