Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Description:

This position reports to the Business Development (BD) director and interfaces with company managers and HR staff. The trainee will participate in the planning and execution of business and marketing strategies. The trainee will also be involved in business partnerships with clients (Eg. Seeking out new clients, relationship building, providing assistance to clients where required) and in conducting market research for prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Utilizing all possible channels to source quality new-to-firm clients with potential to generate business across capital markets.
  2. Inviting new clients to attend company events.
  3. Being responsible for the entire process of new referral/client acquisition from identifying prospects to on boarding completion.
  4. Facilitating client on-boarding process by resolving operations and service issues that may arise.
  5. Following up with clients on offer acceptance and confirm the facility is successfully availed.
  6. Growing our referral base / partners.
  7. Reaching out to clients via social media platforms.
  8. Other adhoc duties as and when needed.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Active participation in strategic planning process, including developing goals, objectives and processes.
  2. Experience in building relationships with products and clients.
  3. Experience in business development strategies in emerging markets.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Knowledge and know-how of social media marketing strategies and platforms.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

Duration of Traineeship: 10 months

Eligibility Criteria for SGUnitedTraineeships:

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and

  • a.Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities); or
  • b.Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
