Boxgreen is looking for a high-energy and no-task-too-small Finance Intern with a passion for food and health/wellness to support the finance team. The team focuses on managing the financial backbone of the company and making sure that the financial records are kept up to date. Through this internship, you will gain an incredible amount of experience and opportunity to perform various aspects across the finance department.
- Duration: Apr/May - July/Aug 2022
- Internship Allowance: $1,000 Per Month
- Working Arrangement: Hybrid (WFH & at our Tanjong Pagar Office)
- Working Hour: 9:30am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
What does the job entail?
- Assist in day to day accounting duties
- Ensure collections are updated timely
- Liaise with customers on overdue accounts
- Collaborate closely with Sales team to ensure timely invoicing
- Assist with preparing and generating sales invoices & debit notes
- Review aged receivables to assist in AR collection and report on weekly incoming AR
- Sending Statement of Accounts to corporate customers
- Assist with month end closing, preparing of journals, schedules, intercompany reconciliation etc.
- Prepare monthly intercompany billings and balance sheet schedules.
- Assist in process improvement, formulate and implement accounting and financial procedures
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
What are the requirements?
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accountancy or Banking & Finance
- Meticulous and excellent attention to details
- Good communication and writing skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. PivotTable, VLOOKUP)
- Passionate about numbers
- Able to work within tight timeline
- Fast learner and able to learn independently
- Singaporeans only
