Our holdings company holds 4 subsidiaries. Through our subsidiaries, we have business functions in estate planning and advisory, gleaned through our internal legal counsel, marketing (digital and media) and events management. Candidates will go through a 10-12 weeks internship with us to go through some of the business functions we do, and to assist us in various capacities whether internally or through or working partners
Candidates will be given exposure to different groups of working professionals, ranging from family lawyers, corporate lawyers, medical specialists, fund managers and etc during the course of the internship program
Nature of internship: Short Term/Undergrads welcome. Fresh ORD/ Awaiting enrollment to Universities /Sophomore/Penultimate
Candidates will have to assume a telecommuting work arrangement. During the course of the internship, candidates will be trained in areas of
i) The use of corporate trusts, investment trust, Wills & Lasting Power of Attorney
ii) The use of NDAs, commercial agreements, partnership agreements in business planning. Renowned lawyer speakers will be deployed to give seminar training during this internship program
iii) Compliance in the banking/finance industry: An Multinational Company Compliance officer will give insights of compliance, roles and applicable legislation, for candidates with interests of specializing in compliance
iii) Hedging investment techniques by a fund manager in charge of a boutique fund, his investment strategies and analysis using trends, portfolio constructions and low volatility alternative investment
iv) External General Practitioners speakers (GP Doctors) on healthy living and stress management
v) Overseas business trip (as and when feasible and practical) to understand business cultures regionally for shortlisted interns
vi) Corporate finance by a corporate banker
vii) Short introduction to IPO and M&A (if time period of internship allows) by an investment lawyer who has amassed more than 20 years in relevant industry
viii) Brief introduction to business functions in events management, personal branding marketing and consultancy for shortlisted candidates
Certification will be awarded by respective speakers to the successful interns. An internship allowance will be disbursed to shortlisted candidates, who shall participate in some of these programs on a telecommuting basis.
