We are launching our corporate training program (CTP) which will run for a month. This program is suitable for fresh ORD Personnel who wishes to understand and pursue 'current' topics in business, law, investments, coding (Introductory) and finance. This is also suitable for undergrads who wish to seek knowledge based training in a corporate setting during their winter break to enhance their employability and portfolio. During the course of the program, various subject matters experts will be invited for networking with the trainees. This will form an invaluable experience for the trainees who wish to seek for future internships/employments in investment firms/FIs/Law firms.
Through the course of the training program, we hope to identify suitable and talented individuals for our subsidiaries and affiliates
Fresh ORD/Undergrads - Corporate Training Program Intake
We are conducting a series of corporate training programs for selected candidates from the Undergrads (for winter) and Fresh ORD Personnel.
Selected candidates, will receive a training allowance during the corporate training program and selected individuals will be chosen to partake in various internships subsequently (optional)
During this series of training program of 3weeks to 1 month , candidates will receive mentorship/training/exposure on the following subject matters:
1) Corporate Finance, Financial Ratios for Corporations, conceptual and analytical skills
2) Singapore code on Mergers and Acquisitions
3) Wills and Trusts
4) Prevention of Financial Crimes
5) Business Law and Contracts formation among corporations
6) Corporate Structure and Law in Singapore
7) Singapore Code on Initial Public Offering
8) Private Equities Investments
9) Accounting for small companies
10) Unit Trusts Investments
11) Contracts for Differences
12) Lasting Power of Attorney and Advance Medical Directives
13) Coding (Introductory) using Javascript and HTML
14) Foreign Exchange Investments
15) Wealth Management
On top of receiving testimonials/certifications of completion, shortlisted candidates will be considered by investment fund houses (our affiliates) or firms specializing in IPOs and M&As, or to assist in firms with a strong foundation in Private Equities Investments
Topics are trained by subject matter experts and include Lawyers, Economists, Accountants, Bankers and Fund Managers
Pre-Requisites:
1) Candidates must have at least exhibit interests in areas of Law/Business/Accountancy/Economics/Investments/Analysis/Finance/Banking or are current undergrads in these areas
2) Candidates must have strong analytical skills and great discipline
