We are a business consultancy firm. Due to expansion plans and provision of services to our clients, we are opening up our internship program to identify and recruit talents. Our fellow subsidiary companies of our holdings company specialize in areas of events management and consultancy and marketing strategies and services.
Helmed by speakers or trainers in their areas of expertise, we are now opening our internship program for year end. This internship program aims to provide a holistic training platform for individuals who are keen in the areas of Investments/Finance. We require no experience for this program
The Investment Discovery Program is launched for (i) Final year undergraduates who wish to have an experience in corporate world in areas of investments/to expand their professional network before graduation (ii) Fresh ORD Personnel who may be matriculating in similar disciplines (iii) any one who have an interest the areas of Economics/Assets Allocation and Management/Portfolio Management/Trade Finance/Wealth Management/Corporate Institutional Investments/Private Banking/Business/Banking.
This discovery program aims to provide shortlisted individuals an overview of some of the common investments as well as the legal framework for such investments. There will be also be a professional networking session (in the form of a training program) for shortlisted candidates.
Professional training during the internship program includes:
Fund manager training
(a) Investment strategies and portfolio management for a fund manager
(b) Hedging techniques (multi-factor models with observable market factors when attempting to separate alpha from beta, positive serial correlation, strategy allocation)
(c) Asset valuation methodologies and statistical arbitrage
(d) Completion of research and assignment of work to interns
Economist networking
(a) Capital Flow (Passive VS Passive Equity Funds)
(b) Investment (Active VS Passive Investment)
(c) Exchange Traded Fund Construction
(d) Market trends, economy outlook and market indices
(d) Assignment of work to interns
Private Equities - Investment Lawyer
(a) Initial Public Offerings (Legal aspects of a prospectus, group restructuring program, legal due diligence reports)
(b) Mergers and Acquisitions (Sales and purchase agreements, and all other ancillary reports)
(c) Introduction to Venture Capital and legal documentation
(d) Assignment of work to interns
Compliance and PDPA - Compliance head of Multi National Company
We acknowledge that compliance is an upcoming area sought by fresh graduates in banking and finance/business/law/economics. During this session, candidates will be introduced to the roles of corporate compliance officers including common frauds in the banking and finance industries and their severity and implications. Candidates will also be introduced to the areas of KYC and due diligence checks
Interns will be assigned to respective individual mentors during different phases. Interns will also be trained in areas of business consultancy, wealth management, investment advisory, corporate solutions and employee benefits.
Intake periods:
This internship is open from now until 2021 April. Interns in private universities can partake on a part time flexible program. Interns can attend interview and start the internship at a later stage as there will be a fresh intake every month from now.
