Business/Investment/Banking Intern (Fresh ORD/Private U/All welcome)

This internship is suitable for individuals pursuing an education or have an interest in the areas of Business/Corporate Consultancy/Investment/Banking/Legal.

Individuals will be assigned to a direct mentor who have amassed several years of experience in the banks, and are familiar with investments. Individuals will be trained by a group of subject matter experts in the following areas:

(a) Private Equities Investments/IPO/M&A

IPO and M&A are sophisticated subjects that are of interest to many undergrads/students. Individuals will be trained by an investment lawyer who have vast experience in the areas of cross border business deals and investments. Familiar with venture capital, he will also train interns in this area to boost the wealth management competency of the individual 

(b) Intellectual Property Rights Events Consultancy

Candidates who may be keen to learn more about events consultancy and management, including the deployment of characters protected by intellectual property rights, will be given a chance to understand how IP rights are obtained by working with the specific rights holder. Candidates will also learn on how interesting characters are placed during events as attractions. This will enhance the knowledge of the interns in the areas of business/marketing consultancy (Events Management)

(c) Corporate Consultancy/Business Consultancy

For candidates keen in the areas of business consultancy, they will further be honed into the skills set by attending internal lessons on common documentations used in business settings/transactions (such as accounting source documents, NDA, MA&A and etc). Candidates will learn on HR solutions, corporate solutions and employee retention benefits during this segment 

(d) Investments 

Candidates will be introduced and taught by a fund manager, who has amassed more than a decade of hedging experience. This fund manager is extremely familiarized with unit trusts advisory and hedging techniques, and will share some common algorithms/patterns/trends during the interpretation of investment funds during the internship, in the areas of unit trusts. Candidates will also be introduced to structured products during this phase

Jobscope of the candidates:

i) Candidates will be required to sit in with consultant when consultant is advising on corporate tax or business documentations, and learn how to prepare simple documents 

ii) Candidates may be tasked to research into specific mutual funds or unit trusts and present findings to a given list of clients 

iii) Candidates will be taught on how to conduct effective presentations to business owners (b2b) 

No experience is required for this internship. However, due to the extent of the program structure, we are only accepting individuals who can commit on a part time flexible basis for a few months/fresh ord personnel awaiting for commencement of universities/fresh grads who can intern for a few months/part time undergrads from universities/undergrads who are able to commit on part time basis during school term.
