Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for somebody Absolutely Awesome to learn how to apply technology to help our eCommerce clients get more sales and revenue.
Once you’re fully trained, you’ll have an opportunity to come on board as a full-time eCommerce Marketing Technology Executive for our consultancy.
We help clients launch new eCommerce brands, as well as take 7 figure brands to 8 figures.
Our clients are primarily in the US market at the moment.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be helping our media buyers and marketing strategists further systematize and automate our marketing processes for maximum efficiency.
You’ll be able to take a peek behind the curtain to see how 5 and 6 figure (per month) marketing campaigns are run, and how technology plugs into making these processes even more efficient and effective.
learning how to buy media and optimize eCommerce websites to help our clients to get more revenue and sales.
Initially as an intern, you'll be reporting to our CTO (NUS Computer Science, class of 2006) and will be assisting the media buyers and other members of the digital marketing team.
If you do well, you'll have the opportunity to transition to a full-time position when you graduate where you'll take charge of the marketing technology and marketing automation for eCommerce marketing projects.
As part of this internship, you will learn:
- How software and technology play into cutting edge marketing campaigns of today
- How media buys in Facebook and Google actually work
- Help make the consultancy’s media buys even better and faster by applying your tech skills to integrate with the various media platforms and their APIs
- Learn the secrets of technical SEO and how to technically optimize a website for more eCommerce sales
- How to optimize a site and page for fast loading times, and how this relates to server technology to optimize the user experience
- Work with other members of our global team to deliver results for our clients
What You Need to Have
You should have a strong interest in making quality software and interested in eCommerce and online shopping/marketing.
Skills required:
- Have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Be able to code in PHP or be able to pick it up quickly
- Knowledge of Python and NodeJS not necessary but will be an advantage
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services will be an advantage
- Be a quick learner
Knowledge of direct marketing and eCommerce would be an advantage but not necessary.
Your attitude is more important than any skills, knowledge or education. We welcome applicants from any educational discipline and experience level.
We strongly prefer candidates in the penultimate year so that if you perform well, we can transition you to a full-time employee once you graduate.
