Industry practitioners also pay for sponsored speaking sessions at our Expo.
- Trade: BOBBAS – BASCO’s Online Boat Buying & Selling platform – and home of the Asia Online Boat Show where sellers list boats for sale in both classifieds and as Online Boat Show entries and buyers find suitable boats to bid, offer and purchase. Additionally, boat service providers and owners needing repairs find each other in the Boat Assist Technical Services Marketplace. We sell marketing and lead generation packages to boat sellers and service providers. We also sell virtual exhibition space to boat owners and industry exhibitors.

The Position
Boat Listing & Sales Support Intern role is a new role for our Online Boat Shows. Armed with digital services and products that solve critical problems for our niche clients which are first-time boaters and new to Asia boaters, the role of Boat Listing & Sales Support Intern is to list boats and marine products for sale in the Online Boat Show. Additionally, responding enquiries from boat dreamers, boat deciders, boat searchers and boat buyers and engage them in their boating journey, via WhatsApp or chat.
The role consists of work in 4 broad areas:
- Searching the web for boats for sale
- Listing them on the Online Boat Show Platform & setting up virtual exhibition halls
- Inbound enquiries and leads
- Working with Internal Stakeholders
Detailed responsibilities include
- Listing of boats etc in the Online Boat Show
- List boats to classifieds sites for sale
- Set up a system to capturing the boats for sale info
- Review client listed entries for accuracy and attractive copy and headlines
- Maintain and update the Online Boat Show events and listings
- Set up new events and exhibition halls for potential exhibitors
- Update the content in the Boat Buyer Expo as needed, add links between two platforms (Online Boat Show & Boat Buyer Expo)
- Update webpages and landing pages
- Create and maintain sales funnels
- Create and send weekly newsletters
- SEO
- Run the online boat show, technical services marketplace and Boat Buyer Expo platforms
What a successful Boat Listing & Sales Support Intern does
- Lists boats and marine equipment for sale in the Online Boat Show
- Sets up virtual exhibition halls and liaises with dealers, manufacturers, distributors and boat owners
- Updates landing pages and sales pages with up to date information
- Makes sure the Online Boat Show Platform, The Boat Buyer Expo, and the Technical Services Marketplace are running smoothly and up to date
- Attends to tech support questions from clients and customers
- Carries out target number of inbound enquiry each day
- Carries out target number of nurture followup each day
- Carries out sales pipeline maintenance and updating each day
