About Us
Bakestarters is an e-commerce company that specialises in all things baking, from our signature baking kits to bakeware and baking workshops. Our baking kits contain all the ingredients you need, at the amounts you'll require, for an in-house developed recipe that comes with a tutorial video. To date, we've delivered tens of thousands of baking kits to thousands of bakers all over Singapore, and conducted both consumer and corporate baking workshops. Our first ever baking workshop launched was sold out in less than 2 hours!
Our goal is to empower and educate individuals to get their hands dirty in the kitchen, cooking and baking up lovely dishes and treats for their loved ones. Besides baking kits, we have also moved into producing baking/cooking content, and are looking to ramp this up and push out more of such content that our online readers have enjoyed so far, and a more comprehensive array of workshops.

Job Scope
So what will you do during this internship? As a Test Kitchen [Product Development] Intern, you will be in charge of developing and testing all our cooking/baking recipes that will be fed into our different channels and products. You will also play a key role and learn the ins and outs of the product development process. You will ideate, curate, test, and document the recipes in our spanking new test kitchen that will help supercharge our expansion into new markets. You will learn how to apply your culinary skills in a business context. You will also work with fellow team members to create useful and educational food content for our audience.
Requirements
- Personal/Professional background in culinary/baking/cooking
