The Job Role:
- Research, design and development of electronic products ranging from networking, IoT and lighting
- Responsible for the hardware/ firmware development
- Prepare documentation of concepts, specifications, schematics and test results
- Understand and source for suitable components according to feature requirements
- Work closely with manufacturing and sales to understand product requirements
- Identify and analyse Design for Mfg (DFM) Issues
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Recognised degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Familiar with wireless/ networking technology and/or circuit design
- Hands-on experience in firmware/ hardware development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical, resourceful and able to work independently
- Interest in IoT/ Electronic manufacturing services
- Training will be provided for those without relevant experience
- Travelling will be required as the programme will involve a rotation to our overseas office
