Job Objective:
Responsible for the provision of technical support and services for all post sales activities to meet established Service and occasionally getting engaged in pre-sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of AV systems, and operating AV systems for high-end system demos and explaining key functionalities of systems and related technical aspects.
Provide Pre-sales support for Services Sales, including the conduct of site surveys to assess for contract renewal and new contracts, and tallying the goods/ equipment.
Site visits for customers to provide best solution suiting the needs of customers
Installation, commissioning, calibration of AV products and training customers when system is fully operational.
In the event that issues are reported, perform onsite diagnosis and coordinate and liaise with product suppliers, where relevant, to resolve technical product issues or handling return/replacement.
Prepare and submit timely, intelligible and accurate service reports, detailing steps of diagnosis and remedy action.
Maintain an updated individual issue record for the products returned from customers.
Escalate technical issues to manufacturer when the complexity of issues exceed the individual’s capacity; approach internal specialists for technical advice when needed.
Provide technical advice and Engineering support to customers.
Prepare checklist prior to onsite visit.
Undertake reliable scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective actions on customers’ equipment.
Analyse tasks, resolve problems encountered and provide feedback and suggestions to superiors for future enhancement and knowledge sharing with the Post-Sales team
Requirements
While relevant AV experience is preferred, if you like gadgets relating to music/movies, and have a basic knowledge in audio, and passion for what we do, we can consider.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to work well in a team.
Positive attitude, flexible, open mindset, customer-focused mindset.
Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, occasionally able to work on Public Holidays/ Weekends/ Overtime.
