Assemblyclan is founded by Walter Tan, a Singapore-based fashion, beauty and travel photographer, and creative director who has shot numerous commercials and social media campaigns both locally and internationally. The wide portfolio that he has built over the years has gained him the trust of many international brands with his creative and production skills for overseas campaign engagements; primarily fashion, beauty and travel-related ones. This includes the Dior Addict Stellar Shine launch in Seoul with the presence of Cara Delevingne and many other international celebrities, Louis Vuitton Spring Summer collection preview with Mediacorp Artiste Desmond Tan in Tokyo and many others. In 2019, he was also chosen as one of the seven photographers for a campaign with Sony to North America, California for a two-week-long photography expedition. He worked with a wide range of industry professionals from celebrities like Desmond Tan, Nathan Hartono, Sonia Chew, Kimberly Wang, Chau Bui (Vietnam), Paula Verhoeven (Indonesia) to influencers such as Melissackoh, Prettyfrowns, Jamie Pang and more.
Video Production Editor (Full-time / Intern)
What You Will Learn
- Produce digital content - from ideation to production to post/editing
- Run a digital content shoot
- Create engaging video content for themed campaigns across digital and retail platforms for fashion and beauty brands
- Conceptualise storyboards and develop creative ideas for videos
- Filming on set
What You Will Do
- Assist producers on set/film day tasks (ie. set up sets, break down sets, assisting crew or cast, cleaning)
- Support in the preparation of team meetings
- Follow through video projects from pre to post production including prop sourcing, casting, location scouting, storyboarding, filming and video editing
- General office tasks (ie. filing, database, paperwork, take meeting notes, running errands, etc.)
- Assist in research and development for creative shoots
Necessary Qualifications
- Open to Polytechnic, Design Schools and University Students with film or communications or marketing background
- Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects (Bonus)
- Want to work in production or produce content
- Creative and innovative with a passion for creating commercial and beautiful imagery
- Must have social media profiles on Facebook and Instagram
- Have an understanding of video platforms like Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Proficient in basic filming
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Xcel, Powerpoint (or their equivalent)
- Ability to work quickly and deliver on time - great at multi-tasking
- Solid problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented and resourceful
- Strong interest in beauty and fashion retail business
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Sense of fun both at work and in your work - an eye for the arresting photo, the clever placement and the memorable image
