Job Description

Responsibilities

Project Execution Support:

  • Signal data analysis and inspection report production
  • Signal analysis using reference signal, without reference signal and with relevant signal filters
  • Presenting the signal data and report to Team lead for verification & approval
  • Support inspecting team remotely or at site, as needed, to ensure all procedures are diligently followed
  • Remote support to inspecting team at site for trouble shooting
  • Ensuring all testing equipment hardware and software are in operational condition with latest licenses installed
  • Testing of project specific adaptors & probe extensions

Technical Support:

  • Verifying signal quality of new adaptors for specific applications
  • Determination of system set-up, advanced parameters and sizing scaling parameters for specific inspections
  • Determining software version to be used for a specific site environment
  • Determining type of acoustic signal filter to be used for shooting of a specific application
  • Setup of inspecting procedures and steps for Acoustic Pulse Reflectometry (APR) inspection and client personnel training
  • Feedback, interaction, coordination with R&D and technical support to G3 users
  • Technical Support for APR R&D efforts
  • Maintain technical and internal test results database
  • Technical documentation upkeep and management
  • Updating of project specific database on central server

Qualifications and Technical Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in electronic, electrical or mechatronics
  • Understanding and prior work experience in  process/ test & measuring instruments and  troubleshooting is an advantage
  • Knowledge of electronics/ analogue/ digital signal processing will be an advantage
  • Preferably 2-3 years’ experience working in industrial projects and services. Fresher welcome.
  • Hands-on experience, must be fit and willing to travel locally & regionally on if and  as needed basis
  • Able to take initiative and work independently
  • Have a positive work attitude with good interpersonal, communication, cross-cultural, analytical and problem-solving skills.
