Arcstone is looking for a Finance intern who is keen on working in the enterprise software space. We’re looking for an intern who wants to hone their skills in general finance, accounting, and operations. Interns will receive opportunities to support the management team by gathering financial data, performing financial analysis, and supporting business activity/decision making. Experience in financial analysis and the ability to identify and resolve gaps in processes will be preferred.
What you will be doing
- Day to day general accounting duties
- Accounts payable and receivable processing
- Monthly closing activities, including general ledger closing, reporting, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and accounting standards
- Conduct company and industry research, building financial models and performing financial analysis
- Prepare materials for senior management and board updates on business performance
- Learn about Arcstone’s products and prepare pitch decks
What are the requirements of the job?
- Currently pursuing studies in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or any other relevant studies
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with ‘a no ego’ and collaborative attitude
- Comfortable with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a dynamic business landscape
- Self-motivated and driven to excel and deliver, even under pressure
- Passionate and ready to hit the ground running by rolling up your sleeves and getting what needs to be done, done!
