Buyer & Procurement Full Time Internship (6-12 Months)
At Apogee Collective, we are a Singaporean Femtech start-up, curating our own sexual wellness brands, Genvie (previously known as Good Vibes) and Hedonist. We are on a mission to liberate true sexual satisfaction and enable a journey of happiness guided by a one’s true pleasure. This role reports directly to Jacqueline, the co-founder, and is required to work independently and as a team. Hybrid working (60/40 in-person & WFH) with flexible working hours.
Job Scope
Research on B2B marketplace and competitive landscape to develop mid and long term sourcing strategy based on market trends
Execute on strategy to grow product portfolio with customer needs in mind
Lead innovation & packaging refresh projects from start to finish, closely collaborating with logistics & marketing functions to meet launch timeline
Responsible for all procurement activities in the business (i.e. products, packaging, event materials, office supplies, etc.)
Ensure on-time delivery from suppliers with consistent quality standards
Build strong relationships with our vast number of suppliers across the world
Negotiate for best pricing and commercial terms with suppliers
Manage defect feedback and claim process with suppliers
Perform and Support UAT, cut over and Go Live as needed

Are you the ideal candidate? We are looking for:

Love for pleasure toys and associated pleasure products
Business Proficiency to read, write and speak in English & Mandarin (in order to converse with Chinese counterparts)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), Wechat and Telegram
Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Responsible and takes initiative without compromising quality and accuracy
Bonus: Experience in global buying and sourcing & have been involved in product innovation projects
