We are looking for a crafter with a passion for solving challenges visually. We are offering an internship that will provide you the opportunity to build your portfolio with reputable clients and iconic teammates. As a Visual Design Intern at Aleph, you'll be part of diverse digital projects, ranging from stories to strategy, site launches to mobile applications. You'll be exposed to project management, client relations, and timekeeping.
This is a minimum 6-month, full-time internship, based on-site in our Singapore studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to integrate effectively into a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, while also being capable of working independently or with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative skills for working with cross-functional teams, including the ability to work with senior designers, UX designers, copywriters, and developers, ensuring design coherence and excellence. This also includes refining skills in aesthetics and art direction.
- Proficiency in multitasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and a collaborative spirit, with an enjoyment for a collaborative design process.
- Adaptability and a quick learning capacity—with a positive attitude and enjoyment in the work undertaken.
Pre-requisites
- Appreciation for the stories, art, design, and aesthetics.
- Creative mindset with a solid understanding of design fundamentals, capable of creating meaningful and visually appealing designs.
- Proficiency in producing various design outputs such as graphics, illustration, layouts, etc.
- Skilled in using design tools like AfterEffects, Figma, Photoshop, and Keynote for tasks including data visualization, layouts, illustration, and graphic creation.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and articulate ideas, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional proficiency in motion graphics design and video editing is a plus.
