Company Profile
The Product Consultant team plays a critical role in bridging the gap between Sales, Customers, and Designers. We leverage internal product information and current industry knowledge to comprehensively analyze the technical side of our customers' applications. This includes coceptualizing and architecting motion solutions at a high level, as well as defining specific deliverable requirements that can be easily understood by our design team. Furthermore, we drive communications between our engineering teams and customers to ensure a clear flow of expectations and delivered results.
Job Description
- Determine and describe specifications for solutions suggested
- Define scope of work required for the project
- Consolidate customer feedback and communicate market trends as a whole to R&D members
- Recommend adjustments and possible solutions to ongoing product development
- Conceive, perform & record technical benchmarking which support external sales activity, and application trials which support internal product development
- Support global sales & marketing activity, by training local engineers, assisting in marketing showcases/conventions
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Controls/Mechatronic Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Having control related work experience or education background.
- Preferably with 1-2 year(s) of working experience in Machine Builders/Automation/Manufacturing and/or other related field/industry is required for this position.
Other Information
Skillset(s) Requirement:
- Knowledge of Engineering Mechanics/Feedback Control Systems
- Experience in cable harnessing, chasis wiring, and control panel design
- Experience in 3D CAD, GD&T, and Machine assembly
- Experience with scripting languages, and Net. Framework
- Experience in any advanced manufacturing process (vision, laser, lithography etc.) would be preferred 2nd and 3rd Language proficiency would be preferred
