Based in Singapore, the Africa-South East Asia Chamber of Commerce is the first chamber of commerce focused on building high-level business relationships between Africa and South East Asia regions. 

It comprises an exclusive "by invitation only" membership to decision-makers at the Presidents/ CEO/ Chairman-level of leading corporations from both regions. Corporate members from Southeast Asia include Pacific International Lines (PIL), OLAM, Wilmar, Hyflux, CrimsonLogic, and MMC.

From Africa, most of the Chamber’s corporate members are from Francophone speaking Africa, particularly Cote d’ivoire.

Job Description

The Africa-South East Asia Chamber of Commerce (ASEACC) provides our potential interns opportunities to work with high-level corporate decision-makers in established African and Southeast Asian member companies. 

Through interacting and collaborating with associates, partners and colleagues from different sectoral backgrounds and diverse cultures, ASEACC also provides professionals a broader world perspective and a continuous self-development platform.

We are looking for a Graphic Design and Media intern, who will primarily be responsible for designing the layout for an in-house publication.  You will also be tasked with designing other collateral such as website graphics, corporate logo and gift sets. 

You will also have the opportunity to experiment with, create and publish a trial digital magazine using a digital publishing tool. 

Eligible candidates must have the following attributes and experience: 

1) Have own computer (Mac/PC) with the necessary software such as adobe photoshop, indesign, illustrator, MS Office and the skills to use these software tools

It will be a bonus if candidates:

2) Have worked with digital publishing platforms and in publishing houses

3) Have previous work for firms in banking, finance, consulting houses
