AFON Pte Ltd – Content Marketing Intern

We are looking for an independent, self-driven Content Marketing Intern to join our Digital Marketing team.  You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You should have a flair for writing and an eye for detail. Please share some writing samples along with your application.

By the end of this internship, you will walk away with real skills to take on a full-time digital marketing or content marketing role.

Responsibilities:

• Research industry topics and create engaging content, including blog posts, e-books, short videos and infographics
• Build and manage an editorial calendar
• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Executive in planning and developing digital campaign content
• Edit and proofread blog posts from freelance writers
• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
• Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics
• Interview customers and industry professionals
• Use Hubspot Marketing to measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)
• Other duties when necessary

Requirements

• Blogging or Writing Experience
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics is a bonus
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Currently undertaking a Bachelors in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field

While on-the-job training and learning resources will be provided, candidates with a strong desire for self-learning will do especially well in this role.
