Job Description

Welder (Tuas / 5 Days / Up to $2800)


Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding of aircraft components as well as sheet metal
  • Utilize machines/ equipment/ tools to carry out standard repairs
  • Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work
  • Actively support and participate in Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives
  • Carry out proper documentation
  • Perform cross-functional jobs within the cell
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to speak, write and understand English
  • Able to work independently
  • Acceptable communication and interpersonal skill and ability to communicate with all levels
  • Basic understanding of technical drawing
  • Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.
  • Relevant experience in welding of aerospace components are preferred
  • Certification in welding related courses will be added advantage

No experience required.
Aircon environment.

Work location: Tuas
Work hours: 5 days (7.30AM - 3.50PM)
