Supply Chain Business Analyst Intern (6 Months)
POSITION CHARTER:
Support supply chain team in data analytics, process review and implementation, key performance measurement and management, etc. This position reports to the Senior Director, Supply Chain APAC.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collate data and information as input to business case for substantiating project initiation and continuous improvement
- Analyze and identify process gaps and shortfalls by methodology such as Ishikawa diagram, Pareto, RCA, VBM etc.
- Support measurement and management of key performance metrics by using Power BI and other appropriate tools to report forecast accuracy, on time delivery, inventory etc.
- Develop administrative approach in ensuring sufficient reporting and controlling for ongoing initiatives are in place
- Observe and comply with company procedures and policies
- Perform other duties as assigned, mostly coordination and communications in nature
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree undergraduates pursuing Supply Chain or Business Management
- Knowledge and practical experience in Project Management a plus
- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Good English spoken and written communication skills
- Having command in a secondary language would be a plus since the position will interact with multi-linguistic stakeholders in the Asia market
- Adaptable, flexible and keen interest to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure tasks are completed on time
