Active Global Home & Community Care, a leading provider of quality, affordable and subsidised care for the elderly both home and centre-based services. Our wide range of home care services are offered islandwide and we currently operate 2 senior day care centres & active ageing hubs at Telok Blangah and Ghim Moh (appointed by MOH). Some of our subsidised services include Home Nursing, Home Medical, Home Personal Care, Home Therapy etc.
What is the difference we bring? - At Active Global we have given special focus to the design and activities at our centres to make clients feel like they are at a resort thoroughly enjoying their time. A vibrant and non-clinical atmosphere is what we have created for clients to feel that ageing is not boring. We also introduced boxing as part of our rehab for clients to feel relevant and a variety of arcade games are available to make fitness exciting too.

Marketing Intern
The marketing intern will be working directly with the Communications Manager. At Active Global, our marketing efforts are on various levels and aims to reach various audiences and stake holders including Media Relations, Event opportunities, Community Outreach, Grassroots level partnerships, Sponsorships, Social Media presence (primarily Facebook) and use of traditional marketing tools such as brochures, posters, etc.
- Weekly update of Facebook pages with posts about activities at our senior day care centres
- Take photos of elderly clients activities at the senior day care centres
- Media monitoring for editorial opportunities
- Writing: Interview, collate details and draft profiles of in-house nurses and caregivers
- Facilitate existing sponsorships
- Adhoc designing of publicity posters / flyers etc.
- Any other duties as assigned
Eligibility:
- Interest and passion to learn the different facets of marketing
- Relevant working experience is an advantage but not necessary
- Basic designing skills
- Writing skills
- Interest in research and exploring opportunities
