Activate Interactive Pte Ltd – QA Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Focus 70% on Automation Test Activities and 30% on Manual Test Activities
• Design, develop and maintain the testing environment, testing framework, test plan, regression test suites and test cases in accordance with changing requirements
• Support writing of automation test scripts
• Design, develop and maintain tools and libraries in C++ and other languages
• Full life-cycle library and application development
• Conduct various tests such as Manual/Automated/Functional/Exploratory testing/Cross-Platform Testing for the various platforms (iOS, Android, Web)
• Support, maintenance, and documentation of software functionality
• Support static and dynamic application security testing (SAST & DAST)
• Conduct system integration tests with external systems and generate test reports
• Collaborate with development team to establish Continuous Integration and Delivery Pipeline
• Champion and drive product quality and QE practices
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years’ experience in automation testing for web-portals and mobile applications in Agile or conventional SDLC
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Working knowledge of Robot Framework (using Python language)
• Knowledge about Appium and Selenium automation scripting
• Understands basics of test design and estimation
• Proficiency in C++ (i.e. C++ 11 and later) or Java
• Familiarity with software version control systems and pull-request workflows, including code review and continuous integration
• Good understanding of manual testing within the SDLC
• Meticulous eyes for detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and commit to the tester agreed deliverable and schedule
• Good understanding of mobile (iOS and Android – React Native) and web technologies (e.g. React.js, Node.js) with the respective debugging tools
• Good understanding of Unit Testing using JavaScript Framework (e.g. Detox, Jest, Mocha, Jasmine)
• Experience in automation testing tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, Robot, Framework)
• Experience in Behaviour-Driven Development
• Experience in Non-Functional Testing such as security testing, as well as performance and load testing
• 1+ years’ experience in Manual Testing web-portal and mobile devices will be advantageous
• Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills, motivated, good attitude, responsible, proactive and an energic team player will be a plus
• Systematic, meticulous and able to work independently

Qualifications and skills:

•  Diplomar or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
