With the recent acquisition of a boutique advisory firm in Singapore, now as transaction advisory services (TAS) is looking for associates or candidates to join us for internships from January to June 2023 (6 months) to proactively assist the team in various aspects of the delivery of outcomes to our clients.

Our TAS service pillars include business advisory, M&A advisory, financial and business due diligence, financial and business planning via strategic review, valuation of businesses or companies, fundraising and operations process improvement in-depth analytics.

Job Description

WHERE YOU FIT IN

Highly motivated individual who is meticulous, resourceful, a great team player, and able to assist the TAS team seamless delivery of projects and deals for TAS’ clients.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your primary role will include:

Assist the team in commercial, financial and tax due diligence projects including, inter alia, full coverage of sales, payroll, cost of sales and other key operating costs analysis.

Prepare teasers and information memorandums for M&A and fund-raising projects with guidance from partners.

Financial modeling for various services including, inter alia, business planning and/or strategic purposes for clients’ next growth plans. 

Support and perform research work for valuation and M&A projects including, inter alia, screening for clients’ comparable companies and transactions information.

Render assistance to the firm’s retainer clients, on a monthly, periodical and/or on ad-hoc basis, to finalize specific reports preparation and submissions in excel or PowerPoint formats as instructed.

Any other work assignments as allocated from time to time.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

To be successful, you will need:

Completed or currently pursuing Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance ACCA, CA, CVA certified is encouraged

2 years of working experience in related role, and experience from Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm will be favorable

Competent in MS Office, Capital IQ Pro and have basic understanding of financial and/or accounting management software

Strong leadership and problem-solving skill

Flexible, able to work under pressure and complete work on multiple projects and timelines
