99.co – Property Content Translator (CN-EN) Intern

What you'll do:

• Perform manual translation of property related content from Chinese to English 

• Conduct quality checks by proofreading and reviewing linguistic work to ensure that the meaning and understandability of content is retained as much as possible

• Document translated works in a neat and organised manner

• Work with internal teams to understand the A-Z of the property industry in order to achieve accurate translation of technical terms and processes

• Other ad-hoc duties as required

What you have/are/will be:

• Excellent proficiency in both Chinese and English

• The ability to interpret, organise and communicate intended messages from one language to the other well

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

• A strong sense of ownership

• Independent and resourceful, and unafraid to ask or clarify when in doubt

• High level of self-motivation and the ability to work efficiently and effectively 

• Able to start immediately

• Background in real estate is a plus but not required

• Experience in translation is a plus but not required
